The herd

Red Akaushi Wagyu cattle on pasture near the barn, red coats clear in the sun

Our herd is Akaushi Wagyu, the Japanese Red breed of Wagyu, on pasture near Poplarville. The first ones for this season's shares are coming this fall into 2027, and we're taking deposits now.

Akaushi beef is naturally higher in monounsaturated fat and oleic acid, and you can see the Wagyu marbling in every steak.
